Stupid Test

The Stupid Test II / From the same folks who brought you the original “Stupid Test” comes the even more frustrating “Stupid Test II.” The premise is the same, but playing gets trickier and trickier. And no, it has not gotten any less challenging or addicting. I just played half a dozen times. When you start, you are given instructions such as press the blue button four times and the grey button twice. Memorize the instructions, once you start, they disappear. You will see a variety of different colored buttons on the screen. You must quickly press whatever buttons the instructions told you to do. Be quick, this is a timed game. When you finish the first task, you are given another. As you continue to play, the instructions get harder and harder. they might say “press the second red button, but don’t touch the blue.” If your cursor goes through a blue patch, you lose. And of course, the time you are given to complete the task gets less and less the more you play. You need quick fingers and an even quicker brain to play and win. Of course, what made the original game famous is still a critical component of “The Stupid Test II.” When you mess up, you receive a really demeaning message. You will be called “stupid,” and “idiot,” and all kinds of vile nonsense. That’s the genius. The game is so insulting, you can’t just walk away. It’s like the game is taunting you to try again. And you will!
