Charles Bronson

Charles Bronson: A Look Back / I found this article while looking around online and I felt that it completely captures the appeal of Charles Bronson and his legacy. In the world of Tough Guys, Bronson is sometimes eclipsed by stars like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen or even some of the later ones like Steven Seagal or Sylvester Stallone. In my mind he was very unique in his persona and I would recommend seeing a few of his movies if you’re not familiar with his work.

Charles Bronson / One of the most recognized Hollywood actors Charles Bronson alias Charles Dennis Buchinsky was born on 3rd November, 1921 in Ehrenfield, Pennsylvania and died of pneumonia and Alzheimers disease on 30th August, 2003. Majority of his roles portrayed him as the atrocious police detective, the western gunfighter, vigilante, boxer or mafia don. He was considered as the tough guy of Hollywood. After the World War-II, Charles decided to follow acting merely due to his impression of making handsome money there. He started his acting career by acting as a sailor in Youre in the Navy Now in 1951. Having been inspired by the Bronson Gate at Paramount Studios, he changed his name to Bronson. Vincent Prices henchman was one of his earliest screen appearances during 1953 which was the horror classic House of Wax. acting career, charles bronson, hollywood actors, Hot Hollywood Girls, mafia don, police detective, vincent price, world war iiShare This
